Abstract: | This thesis explores the research field of the long-term effects of corporate social performance (CSP) on the going-concern value of a the world’s largest multinational enterprises (MNEs). The thesis concentrates on the views of three distinct categories of actors which include: enterprises, scientists and valuators. Finally, the conclusion is reached that presently CSP is not a value affecting factor. However, if the CSP strategies and valuations practices of analysts would alter there could be a positive effect of CSP on the going-concern value. |
