Abstract:“How is the current salinity profile formed under the different tidal conditions and discharge regimes in Heuningnes river, and to what extent will RSLR have an impact at the end of the 21st century on the salt concentrations along Heuningnes river?” This can be broken down into two sub questions: 1. From where does salt in Heuningnes river originate and what does the spatial distribution look like as a result of different downstream water levels and discharge regimes? 2. What will the influence be of an increased relative sea level at the end of the 21st century on salt concentrations in Heuningnes river?
