Increasing The Production Output of Kvadrat Shade

This research presents a study on improving production efficiency at Kvadrat (KSA), a company manufacturing roller blinds. With the plan of growing, production capacity at KSA needs to be increased. Various solutions are proposed to address inefficiencies, including redesigning workstation layouts, optimizing the cart system, utilizing unused infrastructure, and improving fabric cutting processes. Key solutions include the implementation of a fabric changeover table, introducing an automatic fabric changer, and adding extra shifts. These solutions are evaluated for their impact on production capacity and cost-effectiveness. The research concludes with an analysis of the proposed solutions, their potential benefits, limitations, and future opportunities for further improvements .
