Abstract:
This study aims to enhance self-directed learning (SDL) among blue- collar workers by designing an intervention within an existing digital learning platform. Partnering with SwipeGuide, a technology company offering digital solutions for blue-collar workplace learning, the research examines the current state of workplace learning and the impact of mobile learning (mLearning) through a literature review and semi- structured interviews. The findings inform the design of a practical intervention that fosters SDL among blue-collar workers.
