SolarSchools.nl : het ontwerp van een educatieproject en website in Nederland en Cambodja

This assignment is the start of a new project of Pico Sol, SolarSchools. SolarSchools links a Cambodian school to a Dutch school. Both schools use solar power. The schools are linked in two different ways: financially and by making personal contact through the Internet. In the financial part the Dutch school donates their income of energy savings (because of the use of solar panels) to the Cambodian school. This way they can maintain their computer systems. The communication part wasn’t fulfilled yet. This was part of this assignment. In the assignment a product proposition is made to make communication possible between kids from both the countries. To design this proposition two questions were answered: • What is interesting about creating personal relationships between Cambodian en Dutch pupils for a school? • How can this interest be achieved, by the design of an IT-product?
