The purchase of state bonds by the ECB: is the Euro Zone threatened by inflation?

Taking the scaremongering of the German media as a starting point, the preceding study pursued the question whether the sovereign bond purchases of the ECB cause inflationary tendencies, or whether the inflationary fears can be attributed to German culture and history. On that account, the research question “did the purchase of government bonds by the ECB lead to inflation or will it cause inflationary tendencies in the long run?” was phrased, already indicating that the study will be split in a short- and a long-term analysis.
