Bank corporate governance and its performance during the crisis of 2007-2008 : evidences from 74 banks in Europe

The financial crisis of 2007-2008 questions the corporate governance of financial institutions. This paper investigates whether the bank corporate governance before the crisis has effect on the bank performance during the crisis period of 2007-2008.
