Improving the supply chain at Twence Hengelo

Twence is a company that produces raw materials and energy from waste and biomass. The objective of this research is to give Twence more insight into their supply chain. Twence suspects that the amount of stock in their bulk-storage is too and also leads to a lot of costs. We find an equation to determine the processing time of waste given certain characteristics. We perform a simulation study and find that the costs per week could be reduced with more than 60%.
