Towards an effective layout design and improved inbound logistics via Direct Line Feed

Graduation research, conducted at the headquarters of HEINEKEN Netherlands established in Zoeterwoude, which consists of two consecutive researches: Phase I of the research concerns the determination of the most cost effective layout redesign and logistical way to organize the inbound supply of a can packaging line and a bottle packaging line. Phase II of the research concerns the improvement of the inbound supply process to five bottle packaging lines supplied via the Direct Line Feed method.
