Improving performances at a postal company by implementation of horizontal collaborative logistics

Research on a collaboration between Sandd (postal company) and Company X. The research focuses on Horizontal Logistics Collaboration, which should improve the utilization of Sandds fleet and results in cost savings. By analyzing different scenarios, results show that in a collaboration over a selected region in the Netherlands, 12.3% of the annual savings can be saved.
