On design and realisation of a telemanipulation demonstration setup

Abstract:
The i-Botics research center has a research line tele-robotics. To be able to tele-robotics a first step in realising a telemanipulation setup. Design and realisation of the platform side of a telemanipulation setup is presented. This design and realisation is split in 3 parts: mechanical, electrical and software. New software of the system is realised using a component based software methodology to achieve a high level of reusability.
