Finding improvement options within company X

Company X encounters new improvement options because of their excessive growth in the last one and a half year. In this thesis, the aim is to get an overview of the improvement options within the planning of company X. Since the research would not be specific enough when company X would be completely analyzed, the focus was put on one department within the company. After an analysis, where four different KPIs have been given scores, the assembly department is the department where the focus was on throughout the research. When a clear overview is made, one of the problems is chosen to be the core problem and provide a solution to. The core problem is the lack of interaction between the employees and the planning system. The solution is realized by using an applicable model, that is suitable in the situation of company X. Three possible models are being analyzed and are given scores to, where the 7E-model is the model that will be used to provide the solution.
