Automated analysis and simulation of control systems using dataflow

Author(s): Hofstra, Silke (2018)

Abstract:
The design process of a control system is a complex and multi-diciplinary effort. For this effort control engineers need to work together with (embedded) software engineers in order to realize the designed control system in software on a platform. With the steps in this thesis, progress is made towards a way of working where the control engineer gains autonomy for the design and realization of control systems. This is done through the application of existing dataflow methods in a control engineering context, which opens the way for fully analysable models. More realistic simulations are possible as well.
