Acoustic condition assessment of concrete sewer pipes using a particle velocity sensor

In this research the use of a particle velocity sensor is tested for condition assessment in sewer pipes. The particle velocity sensor is used to measure the surface vibrations after an impact, an impact echo. The promising background noise cancellation property is tested.
