The AfD’s Policy Positioning within the German Multi-Level Governance System

This thesis deals with the policy positions of the German populist right-wing party AfD at the national and the federal level. Following theoretical assumptions, potential linkages influencing (in-)congruence between the national and the federal level are tested alongside the positions formulated in the latest election manifesto of each federal state and the national party.
