Operational and tactical production planning at a production company

This paper proposes a model which replaces the production planning and production scheduling task that is currently performed manually. By using a serial schedule generation scheme and an earliest due date priority rule, we create a feasible production schedule. Subsequently, we optimize this model using simulated annealing.
