A new production planning strategy for Ovimex

This research focusses on finding a new production planning strategy for Ovimex. Ovimex currently schedules orders First In First Out with some adjustments to save setup time or deliver on time. A simulation model is built to mimic the current situation. With this model, experiments are performed to see if improvements on the current situation can be made. Goals are to reduce waiting time, throughput time and backorders. The experiments are centered around priority rules.
