Yes, we want to forecast! But how? : forecasting the demand for truck drivers to optimize the business and its supply chain.

This research investigated which available forecasting techniques could be used to accurately predict the demand for truck drivers. The research was commissioned by the company Bricklog. Bricklog wants to offer her customers the service of forecasting in the future. Relatively new forecasting techniques are assessed and used to predict this demand, via a design research approach. Also, external variables like the weather and traffic jam are included in the forecasting because the experts of the company suspect that these variables have an influence on the demand for truck drivers.
