An improvement to the refill process of vending machines : a thesis about demand analysis, product range improvement and review period calculation.

During this thesis, a model will be built to improve the refill process of the vending machines Healzzy2Go sells. This is done by calculating equalization factors, which is a ratio between the demand for one product and the demand of another, based on data provided by the company. This data is the number of products refilled every time an operator arrives at a certain machine. The equalization factors are then used to allocate rings to certain products in the product range with a base number of allocated rings of 1 for the worst-selling product in the product range. This approach will make sure the products will replenish equally. Furthermore, the time between two visits is calculated based on the new set-up of the machine.
