Nijhuis, C.G. (2021)

The company has grown rapidly the last few years and therefore the production facility has difficulties meeting the increasing demand. Currently, the production employees work a lot of overtime to meet the increasing demand, which is an undesired situation. The company is unsure how to increase the production capacity of the production facility. In this research, a linear programming model is formulated to analyse several investments the company can make to increase the production capacity of the facility. Experiments are carried out to with the mathematical model to see how the different production scenarios perform.
