Production scheduling at MPS-level under nonlinear-capacity constraints

Abstract:
This thesis describes the development of an algorithmic method for the creation of a master-production-schedule for a Norwegian confectionery manufacturer. The developed method uses a custom partitioning algorithm to deal with the unique nonlinear-capacity constraints of the manufacturing process.
