Cybercrime and Cybersecurity in the Dutch Retail Sector: A Nationwide Analysis

This study had three aims. First of all, it aimed to establish how prevalent cybercrime is among small and medium-sized retail stores in the Netherlands. Secondly, it aimed to establish to what extent such stores are taking basic cybersecurity measures to protect themselves against cybercrime. Finally, it aimed to explain why some small and medium-sized Dutch retail stores are taking more basic cybersecurity measures than other ones.
