A Step Towards Meaningful SRL interventions in the Medical Environment

Author(s): Spierenburg, Anouk (2021)

Abstract:
This study aims to find which underlying processes score well in SRL interventions for the Medical Environment. Examples of these underlying processes are various forms of scaffolding (hints, modelling, questioning and explaining). The interventions are scored by nurses and L&D specialists on a usefulness scale and they are also ranked from favorite to least favorite. All respondents also filled in open questions in this study, there we asked them to name the advantages and disadvantages of the interventions. This will allow us to see which interventions appeal to the respondents the most and why.
