Introducing maintenance performance management at dairy producer X : managing the adaptation of preventive maintenance for the maintenance department

This thesis is conducted at the maintenance department of dairy producer X. Following a reactive maintenance approach, the costs of the maintenance department became unacceptable to the maintenance manager. This report contains suggestions on how total productive maintenance can benefit company X in the form of the work order protocol. Performance management is used to manage the implementation of total productive maintenance, by using the TPM implementation grid.
