Comparison of Seismic Retrofitting Techniques. Exploring alternative techniques for strengthening buildings in Groningen

The goal of this research is to find an improved design of the wall-floor connections in the Groninger earthquake area because the current strengthening measures are extensive, expensive and cause nuisance for the inhabitants. The report aims to answer the following question: Which recommendations can be made after comparing the quality of different alternative designs for the wall-floor connections in the Groningen region?
