I do what I can do, and things are going well : A Discursive Analytical Study on Agency in Chronic Illness Narratives

In this study I analyzed the narratives that people with a chronic illness produced. The approach was a discursive analytical one, using the 10DT Model of (Non)agency. 22 narratives were read and different examples of discursive tools were found with which participants positioned themselves as agentic.
