Lot-sizing methods for purchasing materials

This thesis provides SVgroup multiple models that can be used to improve the ordering process of the purchasing materials of one specific finished product. Besides providing a better tradeoff between ordering costs and holding costs than the MRP currently suggests, this thesis elaborates on incremental discounts as well. Dynamic programming is used to create the provided models. Recommendations are given to SVgroup, based on the results of this research.
