Designing the tapering of a radially oriented flexure joint
Author(s): Boulogne, M.C. (2022)
Abstract:
Flexure mechanisms are widely used in the field of precision engineering to accurately translate or rotate certain objects. In this thesis the deformations and stresses in a radially oriented flexure joint are researched and a tapering is designed to maximize the turning angle of the flexure.
