Reducing the collection time of printing orders at Ipskamp Printing

This Bachelor thesis is performed at Ipskamp Printing to research how the collection time of half fabricates and raw materials can be reduced at their production department. A collection time distribution is determined using empirical data and a systemic literature review is performed to find improvements for the storage policy of the company. The thesis ends with 7 recommendations, which when implemented are estimated to reduce the collection time of a production step by between 26% and 55%.
