Wavefront Shaping At The Push Of A Button

Doornbos, J.H. (2023)

Light scattering is one of the main limitations of imaging depth in microscopic imaging. Wavefront shaping is a technique that allows for a recovery of resolution despite this scattering. However, there is a need for a common platform to use and develop consistently, clearly and cooperatively. To that purpose, we present an open-source framework in Python called OpenWFS. OpenWFS has the purpose of controlling a wavefront shaping microscope using a MicroManager device that will run a Python script as a device for straightforward microscopy use. Additionally, we developed an algorithm that improves the functionality of the current state of the art Fourier-based algorithm.
