Adaptive control of kinova assistive robotic arm

Author(s): Gaethofs, Damian (2024)

Abstract:
For wheelchair bound people who do not have full control over their body, an assistive robotic arm is a very important device. Typically a joystick is used to control the assistive robotic arm, but some people do have enough fine control to use a joystick. This project develops a system for controlling an assistive robotic arm by using eye tracking technology. This project came forth out of the Abiltiy Tech initiative to improve the life of a patient with severe spasms.
