Abstract:
Yellow Fever, a racial fetish involving white men on Asian women, is a prevalent issue in Europe. This study investigates its impact on the mental health of Asian women in Europe, focusing on power imbalances with white men. The study found five main themes: Self-Esteem, Hypervigilance, Pressure to conform to stereotypes, Perceived Lack of Agency, and Intuitive Recognition of Ethical Dissonance. Future research should include Asian communities in racial fetish research and establish questionnaires to assess Yellow Fever levels and its correlation with mental health problems.
