Abstract: | During the assignment one concept was created that shows the possibilities of plastic PV-modules. All the maingoals were implemented into this final product: the PV-navigate. The new PV-modules offer much aesthetical benefits for PVproducts. The polymer which is used for the plastic modules, PMMA, is lighter and has more shape possibilities compared to the old PV-modules. This material can also be produced in different colors. To apply all the benefits several PV-systems where researched: Grid-connected, hybrid and stand-alone. Combined with the results from the user analyses and surrounding analyses a set of demands was created. In the sketch phase three concepts were created. These concepts: the PV-table, the PV-navigate and the PV-cooler, each got a specific set of demands. A final concept was chosen through a feedback session and by testing with the set of demands. In the final phase the final concept got improved through the imformation from the feedback session. After the improvements the concept was modeled in 3D. |
