| Abstract: | Falco is a company that makes street furniture. The company wants to respond to the demand for bicycle boxes (lockable bicycle sheds for about 2 to 5 bicycles). However, Falco's current bicycle box has high production costs and takes much space during transport. The goal of the assignment is to design a bicycle box with lower production and transportation costs. Besides that, Falco wants the bicycle box to have sufficient burglar resistance and to be installable by the customer himself. User requirements were determined by analyzing the users, contexts of use and existing bicycle boxes. From that analysis the following aspects appeared to require attention: space for bicycles, usability of the door, design and more.
