Abstract: | The assignment was given by the University of Brunswick, Brunswick. In the future a PhD student named David Burzynski will do experiments in the field of droplet impingement. This fundamental research will be used to improve future Computational Fluid Dynamics models. In order to be able to do the experiments a new measurement set-up needed to be designed. The design needed to be an improved version of an older set-up and new features needed to be implemented. The steps taken to make the design are presented. A full theoretical static analysis is made and eigenfrequencies of the system are predicted using the dynamical analysis. Finally the CAD-model is presented and the mounting order of all the parts explained. |
