Abstract: | In this thesis, a new analytical model is introduced to predict the performance of a thermal flow sensor. The analytical model is based on the heat equations, and we add the heat-sink item into the equation, to ensure the calculation result is closer to the real performance. To verify the model, we also built a Comsol model, and the temperature profile of the analytical model is near agreement with Comsol model. Furthermore, the result of the analytical model also compares to the measuring result of the thermal flow sensor which provides by Bronkhorst. |
