Abstract: | In this research, we implement two event-based specifications of XML, from which Engage! can then generate a parser. These parsers are then differentially tested against an existing event-based parser for XML, .NET’s XMLReader. Based on the results of various tests, various possible improvements to Engage! have been found and suggestions on how to further improve the performance of the tool will be proposed. |
