Abstract: | Pentair Water Process Technology BV has developed a new smaller filtration installation. These new installations only have a capacity of approximately 30-60 hectoliters per hour, instead of 100-900 hectoliters per hour as the bigger installations have. The problem is there is no after-sales service provision set up for these smaller systems and the current service-model is too extensive and expensive for the breweries with such a smaller filtration installation. However, when Pentair wants to continue selling these smaller installations, a service provision is needed because otherwise problems will occur in terms of costs and customer satisfaction and therefore negative publicity. In order to prevent these problems, the main goal is finding an optimal after-sales provision that can be used in developing the service contracts for the smaller filtration installations. |
