Abstract:The inventory management of main components from offshore wind turbines to minimize cost. This is achieved by statisticly predicting expected main component failures. The expected failures are used as input for the inventory policies. The policies are then compared based on the total relevant cost by running a monte carlo simulation. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis is performed to determine the impact of the parameters on the outcome of the simulation.
