Abstract: | Demcon develops mechatronic devices. Recording and visualising data to gain insights into its behaviour is crucial during development. Many tools are used for debugging and verification, making the workflow tedious and cumbersome. Furthermore, this solution is not generalised, meaning the various projects at Demcon use their own plotting solutions. A new solution which integrates all aspects of plotting into a single tool that all projects at Demcon can utilise, despite their varying data sources, is desired. In this project, we introduce the five steps of plotting, investigate the current and existing solutions and propose a new solution consisting of an architecture, a design and an implementation as proof of concept which integrates the five steps of plotting into a single tool. |
