Abstract:This paper explores the control strategy for a unique single rotor drone equipped with a fixed wing that incorporates a controllable control surface. It details the drone’s modeling, the development of a Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controller, and its implementation. The effectiveness of the control strategy is validated numerically, providing insights for future research in this field.
