| Abstract: | This Bachelor thesis is performed at Ipskamp Printing to research how the collection time of half fabricates and raw materials can be reduced at their production department. A collection time distribution is determined using empirical data and a systemic literature review is performed to find improvements for the storage policy of the company. The thesis ends with 7 recommendations, which when implemented are estimated to reduce the collection time of a production step by between 26% and 55%. |
