Abstract: | This research focuses on different event detection algorithms used in Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) systems for energy disaggregation. The study will evaluate these algorithms and compare them based on their accuracy, precision, recall, f1-score, and computational complexity. The primary goal is to determine a suitable algorithm for residential energy disaggregation using real-world data. Such an algorithm could be incorporated into an energy disaggregation framework, which generates a disaggregated energy consumption graph. |
